The internationally acclaimed Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Council (PEFC) has awarded Kusch+Co its “Chain of Custody” accreditation. The new credentials recognize the company’s participation in a multi-national program that maintains ecological balance in forested raw material utilization.

, PEFC promotes sustainably managed forests through independent third party certification. PEFC provides an assurance mechanism to purchasers of wood products that they are promoting the sustainable management of forests to include ecological, economic and social standards.
The recently awarded Kusch+Co credentials certify that the company adheres to strict forest management plans that allow harvesting of only selected species. It also confirms that the company uses only trees that have matured to an age that allow them to be gathered without harmful effects on adjacent growth.
